Brintex has over 45 years experience in organising trade fairs and exhibitions. It is now one of the largest independent exhibition and conference organising companies in the UK and continues to be amongst the fastest growing in the country.

HIS

Hemming Information Services benefits from over 100 years of publishing experience. During this time, the company has expanded to include a wide range of directories and magazines covering both the public and private sectors.

Our Roots

The company was founded in 1893 with the forerunner of the Municipal Journal, which served the burgeoning local government scene. The Municipal Year Book followed this four years later.

Brintex, was created in 1963 to compliment the growing success of the publishing activities.

In 1974 the independent directory and periodical publisher, Newman Books was acquired and then fully amalgamated into the organisation in 2001 when it was merged with the publishing division to create Hemming Information Services (HIS) and HIS Dorset.
